Hello my name is Amy and I teach at the Pittsford location. I teach/love Zumba(R) and love being an instructor because the RAC members are so enthusiastic and supportive of each other! Seeing everyone have fun while sweating together is very rewarding. My classes provide a party-like atmosphere, where members can dance like no one is watching, and everyone works out at their own pace.
Hello my name is Andrea and I have been teaching at the RAC for Women since 2013. I teach RIPT & Cut, and Total Body Sculpt.
Hello my name is Annie and I teach Yoga at the Greece location. I love sharing my love of Yoga and connecting with people. Getting positive feedback about how Yoga is helping students feel simultaneously relaxed and invigorated is a great thing. We focus on connecting the breath with movement to create a flow. Class helps clear the mind and stretch the body. We always end in savasana, a restorative pose, to allow the effects of the practice to settle.
Hello my name is Beth and I started teaching in 1985! I am ACE Group Fitness Certified, YogaFit Levels 1 & 2, and Cycling certified. I teach Total Body Sculpt, Cycling and Yoga. I am proud to say I have been in the fitness industry for almost 30 years and am very grateful to have the opportunity to work with the best members in town at the RAC for Women!
Name: Carly P.
Which location do you primarily teach at: Pittsford
What formats do you teach: Cycling!
What do you love about being an instructor: I love having the opportunity to push members past their comfort zones, and help them achieve their goals. The best part is that my riders push me too! Even on the craziest of days, I look forward to teaching my classes. There’s nothing that 45 or 60 minutes of cycling can’t cure! I also love getting to know my riders. I’m certain that the RAC for Women have the greatest members in the world; you make our jobs so fun!
What makes your classes special/unique: I put a lot of time and energy into my classes. I like to vary my rides and my music! Even if you take all 3 classes with me each week, I can guarantee that you won’t ride the same class twice. I do special “theme rides” during the first full-week of every month. Whether it’s a music theme (all 80’s, Backstreet Boys versus N*Sync, Girl Power, Movie Music, etc.) or a profile theme (pyramids, speed rides), I love to change things up! It’s easy to get stuck in a routine in the cycling studio, so I look to members for suggestions each month. If you haven’t already, check them out! I teach on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 5:30 (45 minute class) and Saturday mornings at 8:30 (60 minute class). Come sweat with me!
Hello my name is Cassie and I currently teach Punch & Strike, Zumba(R), Bowka, Pilates, Body Chisel and AB Lab at the Perinton location. My favorite part of being an instructor is seeing how the community of a group fitness setting can inspire, motivate and change someone’s life by having that sense of acceptance and friendship in one room. My classes are unique in that they can vary in intensity, each are individualized, and can always be modified or bring the intensity up as needed. Also my classes tend to be very high energy, whether we are dancing in Zumba(R) or kicking in Punch & Strike, there is always a positive vibe that has a ripple effect. So come try it out to find the right class for you!
My name is Cathy S and I primarily teach at the Pittsford location. I teach Zumba(R) and what I love about being an instructor is having the opportunity to share with others my love for Zumba(R) and fitness. I want to make exercise fun, and help others become fit, and feel they’re among friends. I hope what makes my classes special is the great energy I try to bring to each class and the fun we have!
I started teaching in January 2014 and I currently am certified in PiYo and in house certified for Cycling!

I teach Total Body Sculpt, RIPT, Cardio Kickboxing, Bootcamp, Pilates, Zumba(R), Zumba(R) Toning, and Step! It is a distinct honor to be part of motivating others to improve their fitness and seeing the transformations. It’s a wonderful gift each member shares with me when they enter one of my classes!
Hello my name is Kylie and I teach Cycling at the Perinton location with the early birds at 5:30am on Mondays and Wednesdays! I love this class because you burn a ton of calories, sweat a lot, and get to work out to awesome music! I take a lot of time to plan my classes and come up with the perfect playlists to accompany them. The mornings are the best because the class is full of energetic regulars. I am always looking for new ways to challenge our members and they never let me down. For a little extra incentive, working out in the morning helps you burn calories all day long and helps you make healthier choices throughout the day. If you’re looking to get fit with a bunch of fun ladies, work your booty off, and have a blast doing so, I am your gal!
Hello my name is Lisa and I teach Cycling, Body Chisel, and Step at the Perinton location. My favorite class to teach right now is Cycling. It is a calorie burning class that allows great music and friends to motivate you to push further. You’re always in control of your own tension, so whether you’re a novice or expert, you’ll fit right in and enjoy a workout perfect for everyone!

What I love about being an instructor: Every day I get to work out with ladies who are committed to a healthy lifestyle and they let me “yell” at them!!! I love it when a member comes up to me and tells me how people comment on their appearance and they actually thank me but really it’s themselves who did all the work!!! I also love the friendships I have made over the 21 years I have been at the RAC!!
What makes my class special and unique. I teach a variety of formats that allows me to challenge our minds and bodies in many different ways. I am fortunate that I am able to reach a wide range of individuals who enjoy the challenge of Pilates, yoga and weight training and find it crazy exciting when they do my RIPT class and at the end we all have the same look on our face…yes, the one that’s says “WOW, that’s insane I can’t wait to do it again!”

Hello my name is Niki and I am the Group Fitness Director at the Greece location. I teach Zumba(R), Bokwa, Punch & Strike, Stretch, Cardio Barre and Pilates. My favorite part about being an instructor is when my members tell me they couldn’t wait to come to class, or that they have reached a goal. Being able to inspire positive change in others is a very powerful thing. My classes are unique because I am all about call and response/class participation. Lets all be part of something bigger than ourselves!

I love challenging people to get their bodies to perform in ways that they did not think they could–If you don’t try, you’ll never know what your body is capable of!
