Cheri is a 200 hour certified Yoga instructor and has been teaching Hatha Yoga (beginner to intermediate levels) since September 2011. Stress and anxiety is what led her to her first yoga teacher training. Through the practice of Yoga, breath techniques and meditation she was able to manage stress and physical illness in my body. Cheri discovered a 3-step solution 1) breathe, 2) focus on present moment and 3) change perception. She believes a practice involving mind, body and spirit brings balance and wholeness to the body. Teaching yoga allows her to share her knowledge, experience and training’s with students giving them tools to incorporate into their lives to meet their health and wellness goals. She is a life-long learner following the 8-limb Path of Yoga.

Holly H. has been an instructor since 2012. She holds licenses in Zumba®, Zumba® Toning, Zumba® Strong, Zumba® Kids and Kids Junior. Holly is also in house trained to teach Body Chisel and R.I.P.T. She has been a member of the RAC since 2011 loves that the RAC feels like one big, extended family. In addition to teaching many classes on the Greece and Pittsford schedules, Holly enjoys attending other Zumba® classes and taking Turbo Kick!.

Jen Burke has been involved in fitness training since 2004. She is AFAA and ACE Group Exercise certified, NETA certified for Kettlebell, and TRX qualified in group exercise and functional training. She also has TRX training in Yoga for TRX. She is certified and teaches Turbo Kick and PiYo Live, as well as teaching RIPT and HIIT training in group exercise. Jen teaches small group personal training sessions for both one-hour sessions called War and Peace and Power 30 sessions specializing in yoga for TRX and Introduction to TRX, kettlebell, and battle ropes. Jen is also a master trainer for Flow Fitness Training, a small company out of Syracuse, New York, that provides continuing education credits and training to fitness instructors across New York State.

Joelle is a Group Exercise instructor. She is certified to teach Turbo Kick™ and is in house trained in Body Chisel and R.I.P.T.. Joelle currently teaches Body Chisel at both the Greece and Pittsford RAC locations. Joelle has 20 years of experience as a dance instructor and is the owner of TNT Dance Studio. She’s been a Group Fitness instructor for the past 27 years and has held a AFFA Personal Trainer Certification for the past 20 years. She teaches many classes on the RAC schedule including Mini Chisel, R.I.P.T., Zumba® and Pilates. Karen holds several Pilates certifications, is certified in R.I.P.T., Yoga, Step and Body Chisel. She is also Zumba® licensed. Karen is a Power 30 small group trainer, specializing in core strength development. She says “The RAC is my happy place! I look forward to everyday that I am here! Kasia completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training program at Downward Dog Yoga Studio in Toronto last year. Since then she has been teaching at RAC for Women. To accommodate the various needs of her students, Kasia is expanding her knowledge by participating in the various workshops (including, but not limited to: Yoga for Arthritis, Movement Rx for Yoga Teachers, Movement seminars etc.) as well as deepening her own practice. Her classes and Power 30 sessions blend yoga with mindful movement and strength techniques.

Steph primarily teaches at the RAC for Women Pittsford location. She teaches RIPT and Bootcamp. She loves being able to share her passion for fitness with a group full of strong, inspiring women who will take on any challenge that she brings to class! She says “I love challenging people to get their bodies to perform in ways that they did not think they could–If you don’t try, you’ll never know what your body is capable of!” What makes her classes special/unique is that while RIPT and Bootcamp are by no means a low impact workout, she encourages people of ALL fitness levels to try these classes with her. She provides modifications so that everyone can be comfortable and when things get really intense, all she asks is that you just keep moving your feet! Steph says “Each class I teach incorporates a mixture of strength and cardio exercises, so if you like variety, new challenges, and tons of fun, join me in class!”

The Willis Girls work together to offer a little something for everyone by demonstrating multiple levels of intensity. They create a party atmosphere with super fun music, spicy moves and easy to follow choreography.
